The Honorable Kevin W. Dunn took seat as Medina County Probate and Juvenile Judge on August 5, 2013.

Judge Dunn is a Medina native: his father, a Medina Parks and Recreation Director, and mother, a junior high English teacher.

Judge Dunn received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Miami University in Oxford, and earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Akron School of Law. Since 2012, he has served as a prosecutor for the City of Medina. He has held a private practice for 22 years.

Judge Dunn has been involved with the Medina Rotary, the Medina Area Chamber of Commerce, the Medina County Law Library and the Medina County Red Cross, among various other community organizations. He also served as the president of the Medina County Estate Planning Council from 1996 to 1998.

Judge Dunn and his wife Lisa have two teenage daughters, Emily and Megan. They live in Westfield Center and are members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wadsworth.
